Community Guidelines

CLEVR is built for celebrating life's best moments with the people you love. To keep our community safe, fun, and welcoming, we ask everyone to follow these guidelines.

DO: What CLEVR is for

  • ✓Birthday parties, house parties, dinners, brunches
  • ✓Sports events, game nights, movie nights
  • ✓Day trips, picnics, outdoor adventures
  • ✓Study groups, work events, team gatherings
  • ✓Festivals, concerts, cultural events (with proper permits)
  • ✓Being respectful, inclusive, and kind to everyone

DON'T: Zero Tolerance

The following will result in immediate permanent ban with no refund:

  • ✗Drug parties — organizing or promoting events involving illegal substances
  • ✗Illegal raves — unauthorized events in trespassed locations
  • ✗Underage drinking — events targeting minors for alcohol consumption
  • ✗Violence or weapons — events involving fighting, weapons, or intimidation
  • ✗Hate events — gatherings promoting racism, discrimination, or extremism
  • ✗Exploitation — any form of human trafficking, sexual exploitation, or abuse
  • ✗Fraud — fake events to collect money, scams, or financial fraud

Chat Rules

Our group chats are meant for event coordination. Keep it relevant and respectful:

  • No drug talk — discussing, soliciting, or promoting illegal substances will result in an immediate ban
  • No harassment — bullying, threatening, or targeting individuals is not tolerated
  • No hate speech — racist, sexist, homophobic, or discriminatory language will be removed and users banned
  • No explicit content — pornographic or sexually explicit material is prohibited
  • No spam — promotional content, phishing, or repetitive messages
  • Respect privacy — do not share others' personal information without consent

Our system uses automated keyword detection to flag potentially prohibited content. Flagged messages may be reviewed by our safety team.

Reporting

If you see something that violates these guidelines:

  • Flag it — use the report button on any event, message, or user profile
  • Provide details — the more context you give, the faster we can act
  • Stay safe — if you feel in danger, contact local authorities first

Reports are confidential. The reported user will not know who flagged them.

Enforcement

Minor first offense. Content removed, user warned.

Suspension (7-30 days)

Repeat offense or serious violation. Account locked.

Permanent Ban — No Refund

Severe violation (illegal activity, drugs, violence). All data deleted, credits forfeited, reported to authorities if applicable.

Law Enforcement Cooperation

CLEVR cooperates fully with law enforcement agencies. We will:

  • Respond to valid legal requests and court orders
  • Proactively report content that indicates imminent danger or serious crime
  • Preserve data when required by law
  • Provide data to authorities in accordance with German law and EU regulations

These guidelines work alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Together, they keep CLEVR a place where everyone can plan, invite, and celebrate safely.
